- To purchase SoChe packs, dial *117#.
- Minutes, data, and SMS benefits will be credited to a dedicated SoChe account, separate from the main airtime account.
- Validity periods:
- Daily Pack: 24 hours from time of purchase
- Weekly Pack: 7 days from time of purchase
- Monthly Pack: 30 days from time of purchase
- If a customer buys both an Airtel Pack and an All-Network Pack, the Airtel Pack minutes will be used first for Airtel-to-Airtel calls before the All-Network Pack minutes are consumed.
- If multiple Airtel Packs or All-Network Packs are purchased with different validities, the pack with the shortest remaining validity will be used first (e.g., 24-hour → daily → weekly → monthly).
- Ineligible customers and services:
- Payphones
- Postpaid customers
- Short codes
- Voicemail
- Call forwarding
- CUG (Closed User Group) customers
- On-net and Any-network Pack minutes cannot be used for international calls or while roaming.
- If a customer has an active Airtel data bundle and a So Che data pack, the So Che data pack will be depleted first.
- Customers may purchase the 1.5GB So Che Night Pack (K5) as many times as they wish. The Night Pack is valid from 00:00 to 05:00 hours.
- Data in the So Che Night Pack expires after 05:00 hours daily. Even if the account displays a remaining balance after 05:00 hours, that balance cannot be used during the day or the following night.
- All-Network minutes are consumed:
- At 1-second billing for So Che main account minutes
- At 60-second billing (per minute) for So Che bonus minutes
- Airtel reserves the right to adjust So Che rates, structure, and benefits at any time.
- The availability of So Che services is subject to overall network availability and may be affected by system downtime, technical issues, or other unforeseen network challenges.
- Customers are advised to refer to the General Terms & Conditions of Airtel Networks Zambia Plc, which apply fully and are incorporated by implication.
Customers can access So Che by dialing *117#, *115#, or through the My Airtel App. They can then choose either All Networks Packs or Airtel Packs, offered in daily, weekly, and monthly options.
Yes, So Che is open to all Airtel prepaid customers, except:
• Postpaid customers
• Payphones
• Prepaid customers on CUG plans
To check your balance of minutes, SMS, and data:
• Dial *117#, then select Option 6
• Or check directly from the My Airtel App
• On-net (Airtel) Packs: Minutes can only be used for calls within the Airtel network.
• All-Network Packs: Minutes can be used to call both Airtel and other local networks.
No. These benefits cannot be shared. However, a prepaid customer can buy a So Che pack for another prepaid customer using Airtime, Airtel Money, or Debit Card.
No. However, you can join Airtel easily—get an Airtel SIM for only K5 and enjoy So Che packs.
No. International calls are charged at the normal tariff. To enjoy discounted international rates, dial *115# → Option 3 → Option 5, or *117# → Option 8 under International Services.

Yes. You can purchase multiple packs. Usage priority will go to the bundle with the shortest validity (e.g., daily packs are used before weekly/monthly packs).
Yes, but only if:
• The packs are identical (same price, same validity, same type), and
• The new pack is bought before the current one expires
Example: Daily On-net So Che K2 will accumulate with another Daily On-net So Che K2 bought before expiry.
Yes. You can have multiple So Che packs active simultaneously.
• Airtel Pack SMS: On-net only (Airtel-to-Airtel)
• All-Network SMS: Can be used for both on-net and off-net messaging
Dial *117# → Option 4 → Option 5 Get 1.5 GB for use between 00:00 hrs and 05:00 hrs at only K5.
The Night Pack will be used first, before your So Che data bundle or any other active data pack.
